Odeonsplatz Concert 2024: Lahav Shani & Anne-Sophie Mutter

Synopsis

The designated chief conductor Lahav Shani will lead the Munich Philharmonic for the first time on Odeonsplatz and will have violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter at his side as a star guest. A mixture of works by Carl Maria von Weber, Paul Dukas, Camille Saint-Saëns and Igor Stravinsky appeals to listeners of traditional classical music, while pieces by John Williams are played for lovers of film music, including the main theme from “Jurassic Park” and Hedwig’s Theme from “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.
