Teddy Swims plays Baloise Session

Synopsis

Teddy Swims’ success story begins with him posting covers of his favorite artists on social media. Only after the public got to know his unique style of singing, he started presenting his own songs such as “Picky” and “Broke”, opening the way for his deserved fame with his four EPs. Swims’ full-length debut album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), arrived in 2023 hitting 25 on the Billboard 200 and spawning the number one Top 40 single “Lose Control.” The song is nominated for “Song of the Year” and “Best Alternative” at MTV Video Music Awards 2024, where he is also nominated as “Best New Artist”. In his Basel show, Baloise Session’s audience should not only expect to listen to an R&B singer, but will have the occasion to know somebody who challenges the stereotypes of what an artist should be.
